Finally a webcomic in which the characters are dirty, hairy and not just one pretty face after the other. I love it!

Thanks Amianas! That was a very important aspect of the comic for me. If I couldn’t rationalize something like shaved armpit or bikini tops I just left it the way it would really be. It makes more sense anyways and makes for more honest storytelling.

I’ve noticed that you haven’t coloured pages 17-22 yet.I trust that you’ll colour them when you get the chance because you must have other duties at present that need your attention.

You’re absolutely right. I’ve been posting new updates of Chapter 1 every Friday until it’s done. So this week, 17 will be updated. This is indeed because I just have too much to do so coloring one a week is the best I can do.

You have a really beautiful art style (I’m a lil’ envious, kudos!) and your storyline is really intriguing. I’ve shared your comic on my Facebook feed, but was hoping I could put a link to it from my own (not nearly so pretty) web-comic. Also, if you ever do a print version, I’ll be buying a copy.

    Thanks for posting this!

P.S. — It’s disconcerting that this comment form forces uppercase. Even after typing my comment in TextEdit and pasting it here, it converted it to uppercase. O_o

Hi Gabriel, Thanks for the kind words. I’d love it if you shared my link at your site and thanks for sharing it on Facebook! I’m happy to return the favor as well.
I’m not sure exactly why it goes to uppercase when you type your message. Once it’s posted it goes back to regular type. I’ll look into it. Thanks for letting me know.

THE CONCEPT IS INTRIGUING, BUT THE SCRIPT FONT IS INCREDibly HARD FOR ME TO READ.

  5. […] Hominids is about stone age people in a forest with enormous trees. According to the narration at the beginning a young man who enters that forest from the outside is going to “change things for everyone”. And right after that the story starts following a group of forest dwellers instead of that young man. […]
