I doubt this comes as much of a surprise.
The fun is not the mystery of “who” the High Priest is…
…or was, rather the fun is finding out how he came to to be who he is now. He comes off as such a good person when he’s with Zona. It’s reminiscent of Icari when he’s with the Tree People…but, maybe that’s the point.
It’s surprising, but there is still one more page after this. It’s more of an epilogue, but it’s one of my favorites. You’ll find out next week. After that, I’ll be taking a short break to get Chapter 6 ready. There are some script things I need to tighten up and I need to make sure all the thumbnails and concept art is prepared.
Not to mention, it’s time to think about putting these books out in a real serious way. Like, in comic book stores. I’m looking into Patreon as a means to help pay for self-publishing. I haven’t completely ruled out finding a publisher too. We’ll see. The future is an blank canvas at this point.
This weekend! I’ll be exhibiting at both Emerald City Comic Con again this year.
For ECCC, I’ll be at booth 1308. On top of exhibiting For “Hominids“, I’ll also be there helping sell Monsterpedie 3, which is an anthology book I’ve been a part of for the last 3 years. So if you’re planning on coming this year make sure to stop by and say hi! I’ll be sharing the booth with non other then: Dev Madan of “Young Heroes in Love” fame, Karin Madan of “Stumpytown”, Misael Armendariz, Erin Middendorf, Rich Werner of Plants vs. Zombies, and master-painter Augie Pagan. Most of the other contributors to Monsterpedia have their own booth or will be there in their own capacity: Travis Kotzebue (Booth 1519) you should all know this man,Winda Benedetti (my writer and general awesome person) Mike Bear (Booth 1404), Lawrence Ruelos (booth K-13) ,Gene Blakefield, Anton Bogaty, Stephen Byrne, Ryan Condone (Dev’s writer), Sarah Dickens, Lynn Hogan creator of Prydwen, Peter Hon, Rob McDaniel, Greg Mezler, and Paul Whitehead.
These people are all incredibly talented and it’s worth your time checking out each of these links. The cover to Monsterpedia 3 was drawn by Dev Madan and colored by Augie Pagan. You saw it! You can’t unsee it!
