Yes! Some day I’ll stop posting this video!
But if you haven’t watched it, do so now! It’s worth it.
So page 3 of Chapter 7 is here. Let me know what you think.

It’s been a long time coming!
Chapter 7 is finally here! Thanks for everyone’s patience.
In part, the long wait was due to the need for a break. 6 chapters is basically the equivalent of a full graphic novel and after getting through that, I just needed the time off. I also needed time to get a bit more organized on things like printing, writing the next book and getting a Patreon account together. The Patreon, I hope will be coming very soon so keep a look out for that.
Even though it’s been such a long break, I’ve still been keeping myself busy. The biggest of which was making the below animation. If you haven’t checked it out yet, take a look. I think it’s pretty cool.
I also got a lot of great Hominids art from some great artists who I hope you check out.
This is an amazing Lye pin-up by Al Fukalek, artist of The Specialist.

This piece was done by fellow Iron Tiger Comics friend, Victor Couwenbergh. Victor is the author Zik the Gallant Defender of Zoz.

A beautiful illustration of Icari and Zona by Erin Middendorf. Here’s her art blog, pottery blog, Facebook, Tumblr

This amazing piece of art comes from a friend from work named Tara Mueller. You will not regret following her! Here, here, and here.

Edward Pun is the creator for the amazing comic series, Shotgun Wedding. Also check out his great pin-up work at his Twitter, or Facebook page.

This is a piece by internet famed, Stephen Byrne! Make sure to follow his Facebook page!|

My apologies if you want to make a comment. It seems it’s not working on the chapter 7 page. I’m working to get that fixed but I’m not exactly sure what’s going on yet. If you want to leave a comment, feel free to do it on chapter 6, Twitter, or Facebook page.

Well, we won’t be seeing those guys again….
So I know I said last week was the last page, but every epic story needs an epilogue.
I also didn’t want you to think that I forgot about that cave. In fact, be ready for the cave and Icari’s god to be major parts of ‘Book 2″. But in what capacity? Either way, they still have to get off that Mountain and learn how to dodge arrows.
Even though I will be taking a break to get “Book 2” ready, make sure to keep coming back for art, concepts and general updates. Oh and if you live in the Denver area, make sure to come visit me at the Denver Comic Con over Memorial Day weekend! I’ll be at table F32.
I just want to thank everyone for being such loyal followers. I’m not a person who ever feels entitled by anything. I’m completely humbled that you would wait a week for me to make a story that takes this long to tell and want to return the following week to find out what happens next. I promise that I am hard at work on “Book 2” and that it will be worth the wait!
Until next time my fellow Hominerds!
To Be Continued…
…there will be an epilogue next week.

Two Pages Left
That’s right everyone.
Next week will be the official last page but the week after you’ll still get an important epilogue.
Only two pages left before, not only the end of Chapter 7, but the end of Book 1!
After that I will be taking a break. This is mainly due to preparing for Book 2, but I do have a few other things planned that I haven’t been able to get to. I would love to set up a Patreon account. I also need to prepare for the massive task making a hardcover master edition of Book 1. I find doing these thing while also updating the site each week, to be a bit too much for me to take on. So a portion of the summer will be dedicated to those projects before I come back for Chapter 7.
Fear not my fellow Hominids, I will have constant updates as well as Pin-ups from some of my favorite artists. So make sure to stay subscribed for all the news to come!

Not much to update this week.
Only 3 Pages left!

Where on the Mountain do you believe they landed?
How much further do they have to go?
On a lighter note, Hominids was featured on WebComic Super 100 this week!
It’s a really nice review, so make sure to watch the video and visit Emmett Hamilton‘s site at the above link.

Not much news to report this week.
Enjoy the page and make sure to vote for Hominids at Top Webcomics!
