These events have been talked about and mentioned on several occasions throughout the series and we finally get to see what happened.

I am enjoying the series so far. You said the torture scenes were hard to draw, but I think you struck the right balance in their depiction. Please keep it coming.
Just a little grammar quibble: “threw out” = past tense of “throw out”, to toss something away from you or out of a particular are or structure, or maybe what you do with garbage. “throughout” = in all circumstances described. I think you mean this second word in your second paragraph above.
