In the first set of drawings, Keyli and Clumsy get into trouble with the bullies of the tribe. Here you see them about to get ambushed while Clumsy gets into trouble with the wild life. Keyli is always too tough for them. The consequence, of course, is that he would always get the blame and be punished. This was the inspiration for the second half of Chapter 1. Originally, I was going to write all the stories around these drawings until I thought of something with a bit more depth.
A couple characters you may not have seen before. With Keyli and Clumsy on the beach is Da Hair! He was meant to be Keyli’s best friend but I don’t think I ever drew him again. Then there is the adult who is grounding Keyli, Slash-unk! One of my favorite character. Unfortunately he didn’t translate that well.
