This weeks new page reveals Icari’s cave! Perhaps not exactly what he was hoping to find. Still, there is much mystery around this strange cave that raises many questions.
I’ve been anticipating these pages for quite some time. As an audience we knew what to except based on Icari’s story in Chapter 2. Having it lead to something else creates greater mystery. Of course the biggest question is, where is this God that Icari speaks of? Might he have imagined it?
The team has finally made it down to the cave! What will they see when they get through the tunnel? Will his story turn out?
Here they go again into the dark abyss. See you on the other side next Tuesday!
A big help once again to my brother Travis for helping color this week. It’s really helped me pull ahead and get back on my game.
Although there is almost no dialogue on this page, it’s really important in that it shows the culture of the Tree Dwellers is rubbing off on Icari. He’s much more adventurous and fears far less, even if he does need a bit of a push, or words of encouragement.
I was also excited about the having our cast ride the birds. There is a very specific reason for this mode of transportation. I’ll have more on that later.
A new page of Hominids is out. This page is really a fun moment for me. I’ve waiting a long time to show a growing friendship between Icari and Keyli. Now that it is roughly 3 months later they’re full fledged brothers which sets some uneasy. They’re friendship will play an important role in the fate of both characters. https://hominidscomic.com/
